Atlantic City Mother’s Day Music Festival—May 13th
Why not take Mom out the night before Mother’s Day and let her rest on Sunday? The Annual Atlantic City Mother’s Day Music Festival is on Saturday, running from 7-10:30, and will feature Maize ft. Frankie Beverly, Gladys Knight, and plenty more. It’s a fun way to spend the evening, and the perfect segue to breakfast in bed the next morning.
Azalea Festival—May 14th
Head on down to the Sayen Park Botanical Garden this year for their annual Azalea Festival—although it’s not just azaleas. The grounds will be covered with rhododendrons, flowering dogwoods, bulbs of all colors, and yes, plenty of azaleas. It’s a great place to stop during your Mother’s Day outing, and Mom is sure to love wandering through the beautiful gardens on her special day.
Alba Vineyard Mother’s Day Festival—May 14th
From noon to 5:00, the Alba Vineyard will be hosting a Mother’s Day Festival that’s perfect for the mom who’s all about her vino. There will be a wine tasting, a cellar tour, and lunch, as well as live music to brighten the day and add to the lively atmosphere. The afternoon timetable is great for letting Mom sleep in and enjoy the morning before taking her out.
Tenafly Nature Center Mother’s Day Hike—May 14th
There really is a Mother’s Day event for everyone, and if your mom or wife loves to get outdoors and enjoy the scenery, then take her on this Mother’s Day hike at the Tenafly Nature Center from 10:00 to noon. Meet up at the visitor’s center, and remember that the hike isn’t appropriate for strollers.
Mother’s Day Brunch at Piattino—May 14th
Brunch at Piattino will be served from 10:00 to 4:00, and will include Ricotta Buttermilk Pancakes, Lobster Gnudi, and plenty more tantalizing food for Mom and the whole family to try this Mother’s Day. If brunch isn’t your style, then you can also go for a dinner that will be served until 9:00 pm. The seats are bound to fill up quickly, so make your reservations today!
