Spectrum Vision Partners and OCLI Vision believe in contributing to bettering the communities where we work. Our team and partners believe in encouraging better health and wellbeing for all patients and the broader society. Part of building better wellbeing involves contributing to different causes. This October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we want to highlight the contributions our team has made to the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer.
Over the years, we have made significant strides against breast cancer and it’s due to the dedication of our team and their interest in addressing a variety of health issues affecting our community. Without their willingness to raise money, host and participate in events, and encourage their families and friends to do the same, we would not have been nearly as successful in our contributions.
Each year the American Cancer Society hosts a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk (MSABC), for which Spectrum Vision Partners and OCLI Vision is a sponsor. Since 2013, our teams have raised over $600,000, a commendable achievement and one we hope to continue growing! Once again this year, Spectrum Vision Partners and OCLI Vision will be a corporate sponsor, joining the ranks of larger employers and health care institutions in raising money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. We’d love to see you there as we walk to honor breast cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise donations to continuing fighting breast cancer and one day eliminate this disease for our society.
We want to congratulate our New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania team members and send a big thank you to those in the community that have also participated. We are confident that with greater awareness around breast cancer and more funds for treatment research and development, we can continue making great strides against breast cancer.
