It’s almost 2017, and that means people all over the world will be gathering together on December 31st to ring in another year. We all hope the next year will be better than the last, and many of us will make resolutions for the coming year—getting in shape, quitting smoking, or starting on a personal project we’ve been putting off. At OCLI we have some resolutions of our own that we’re making this year, and we’d like to share them with you, too.
Some folks’ resolutions are about starting something new. It could be a new habit or hobby that they want to incorporate into their life. Our resolutions are more about continuing certain aspects of our business and community involvement.
For instance, we’ve resolved year after year to find the best, newest technology and incorporate it into our practice. Whether it’s the new Raindrop inlay, or a brand new femtosecond laser, our goal is always to have the technology and tools that provide the best care for our patients.
And that brings us to another of our ongoing New Year’s resolutions—great patient care. We like to think that the patient care you’ll receive at OCLI is second to none, and we’re always ready to prove it to our next patient. Because we don’t just do LASIK surgery, we provide a whole host of procedures and eye care techniques that cover just about any eye-related problem that you might be facing. Whether that means an appointment at our Dry Eye Care Center, cataract surgery, or glaucoma medication and support, you’ll find it all here.
We’re also keeping our ongoing resolution to be an active part of our community, and to give back when we have the chance. Our Vision Harvest charity has provided cataract surgery to hundreds of at-need patients who otherwise could never have afforded the life-changing surgery. We’ve been blessed to have such success, and one of our resolutions each year is to always take the opportunity to help those who aren’t so lucky.
2017 is set to be a big year for OCLI, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that Dr. Cary Silverman recently celebrated his 30th anniversary here. Thirty years in any professional field is an accomplishment, especially one that’s experienced as much growth and change as the LASIK industry. We think it’s important for patients in the area to know that they’re getting care and expertise that’s been cultivated over a lifetime of work and dedication.
And that’s what most people are looking for when they need someone to take care of their eyesight—a practice that’s consistent in its principles and dedication to patient care and happiness. So if you’ve been thinking about getting LASIK, or are having any other trouble with your eyesight, then call us today and schedule a consultation. The new year could mean more than just a few new resolutions, it could mean seeing the world in a whole new light.
