There’s plenty to do in the Garden State this summer, from concerts to bike rides and just about any other activity you can think of. July 16 – Bastille Day
Celebrate Frenchtown Couture with the Bastille Day festival in Frenchtown. The festivities will run from noon to nine, and include a fashion show, live music, food, and art.
July 31 – Glasstown Aglow
Head to the Captain Buck Riverfront Park in Millville on July 31st to see original work from local artists. They’ll be creating a floating, translucent lantern powered by LED lights. Attendance is free, and the event will include live music, face painting, and ice cream.
August 13 – Butterfly Festival
The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association will be holding their 16th Annual Butterfly Festival on Aug. 13th on their 930-acre Watershed Reserve in Hopewell Township, NJ. Come enjoy the beautiful Katie Gorrie Butterfly House and enjoy some live music and delicious food.
Aug. 20 – Kenny Chesney
Kenny Chesney comes to the MetLife Stadium for the fifth time in sixth years, and this year his openers will include Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt, and Old Dominion.
Aug. 25 – Meet Me In Morristown
Come experience what one of the best downtown areas in Northern New Jersey has to offer. You’ll be supporting the community by shopping locally, and you can enjoy the sidewalk sales, demonstrations, artists and entertainers.
