Joseph Berardi, MD, is an Ophthalmologist focused on utilizing the latest surgical techniques, including laser-assisted cataract surgery, multifocal, and toric intraocular lens implants. Dr. Berardi has been performing laser vision correction surgery since it was introduced in 1991 and was responsible for supplying data to the FDA for approval of the laser. Dr. Berardi serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at Sisters Hospital and as Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY University of Buffalo.
Dr. Berardi completed his undergraduate degree at Canisius College and his doctorate at Georgetown University Medical School. Following medical school, Dr. Berardi completed an internship at Washington Hospital Center and served as the Presidential Flight Surgeon for Air Force One. His ophthalmology residency was done at Erie County Medical Center (formerly E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital).

Since you arrived you will be attended by great staff. They do a complete eye exam. They are very careful with the cleaning of every machine before you use it. You don’t have to wait too long in order to see the doctor who by the way is very clear to explain your condition. He is very professional and polite. I will highly recommend this place.
